In early 2019 my colleague flutist Maryly Culpepper commissioned a septet for flute, clarinet, harp, 2 violins, viola, and cello. The chamber ensemble Fontenay Chamber Players that Maryly directs recorded the piece, titled Divertimento, in 2022.

In 2018 Pianist and actress Victoria Papayani asked me to compose incidental music for her monodrama Confessions of Clara Schumann, based on C. Schumann’s diaries. Victoria gave several performances of the monodrama with my music in the background. The music, written for organ, was recorded by Victoria’s husband the organist Kalle Toivo.

In 2009 pianist and conductor Peter Freisinger commissioned a piece for chamber orchestra. The composition, titled Four Seasons, was premiered in 2010 in Boston, MA. Excerpts from the piece were later performed in Ulyanovsk, Russia, in 2013.
